Reporting a calculation error

Including the following makes it faster to check:

• The values you entered (average cost, shares owned, current price, shares to add or target average, fee rates)
• The result the calculator showed and the result you expected
• Your device and browser

A link made with “Copy result link” carries all of your inputs, so pasting it into the email works too.

What we can't answer

avgdown is a calculation tool, so we don't answer questions about whether to buy or sell a particular stock or about investment strategy.
