Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

avgdown (“the site”) is built to handle as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what information the site deals with and which outside services it uses.

1. Calculator inputs

The average cost, share counts, prices and fee rates you enter are used only for calculations inside your browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party. There are no accounts, and the site does not ask for your name or contact details.

If you press “Copy result link” or “Share,” your numbers are placed in the page address (URL). That link goes somewhere else only if you paste or share it yourself.

2. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies or track individual visitors, and it works with aggregate information such as page address, referrer and browser type. Because the site is delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may process connection data such as IP addresses for security and to operate its service.

3. Advertising and cookies

The site may show ads from Google AdSense and Kakao AdFit. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Learn more at How Google uses cookies in advertising.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator still works without them.

Information processed by advertising services through cookies is governed by each company's own privacy policy.

4. Retention

The site does not store personal information about visitors. Emails sent to us are kept only as long as needed to reply and keep a record, then deleted.

5. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@avgdown.app.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the update and a new effective date will be posted on this page.
